That’s where we come in: we are Best Face Forward.

Best Face Forward is a digital studio headshot business targeted at Smith College  students who want to enhance their professional image. Many students who need professional photos of themselves are uncomfortable in front of a camera, or they do not have the time or money to go to a professional photographer off-campus.

But our affordable, personalized ten-minute service in convenient high-traffic locations on the Smith campus gives students a photography experience that they enjoy, one that leaves them feeling -- and looking -- proud, professional, and poised. We offer on-location reviews, retouching, and multiple background options, because Best Face Forward believes that Picture Day should be fun, not formulaic.

Our team has seven years of photography experience, with specialties in both studio portraits and on-location headshots. We have already gained traction through multiple dry run headshot marathons and individual headshot appointments, and our market research of students and faculty – 75 interviews and counting – has shown that many people on the Smith campus have a demand for our service. In addition to the headshots we have already done, we have also been asked to photograph at a senior-only event at the Alumnae House, and the Office of College Relations has asked us to photograph the Smith faculty and staff in a long-term project over the coming year. We have all necessary camera and lighting equipment already – now all we need is your support.
